Retail is live: sell it, stock it, and know what's left — all in PawFora

Most pet shops sell more than grooms. Shampoo, food, the toy a dog won't stop staring at. But the shelf and the till were never the same system. You sold something at the counter and updated a notebook later, if you remembered. Stock took care of itself, which is another way of saying it didn't.

Retail is now part of PawFora. It connects what you sell to what you have, so the numbers move when the work does.

• A product list that's actually yours. Everything you sell lives in one catalog: categories, brands, and a CSV import so you're not keying in SKUs by hand. Each product carries its tax rate and its supplier, so a sale or a reorder already knows where to look.
• Receiving that takes a minute. A delivery shows up, you open a receipt, pick the supplier and the items with their quantities and cost, and press Confirm. Stock updates right then. There are no half-written orders sitting open, and if you fat-finger a line, you void the receipt instead of living with the mistake.
• Send stuff back without breaking the books. When a box comes back — wrong item, damaged, or just too much — it's its own document, with its own number and a reason, and the cost comes off at the price you paid. Your supplier gets a clean credit note, and your inventory cost stays true.
• Stock counts you can trust. Count on a barcode scanner, a product picker, or an uploaded sheet, whatever fits the shelf in front of you. Lock the stock while you count so nothing sells out from under you, then someone approves the count and the difference lands in inventory. The person who counted it can't also approve it. That split is on purpose.
• The sale and the shelf talk to each other. Ring up a sale on the same screen you use for grooms. Sell a bottle of shampoo at checkout and the count drops by one, immediately — no second step, no second system.
• See what's low before anyone asks. The retail dashboard shows your running-low items the moment you open the app, so a regular isn't the first to find the empty shelf.
• Permissions that match your team. Seven switches decide who can see retail, manage products, receive stock, run a count, and approve one. The person unloading the truck and the person signing off the stocktake don't have to be the same person anymore.
